The CDS-FB17 is a heavy-duty enclosed industrial monitor designed for use in automotive service pits and production environments where exposure to oil, coolant, and other fluids is common. Designed for reliability and flexible installation, it supports both VESA arm mounting and side bracket mounting, while its splash-resistant front provides protection equivalent to NEMA 4 (non-hose-down). The 17" TFT display (1280×1024) with VGA input delivers consistent visibility and performance in demanding conditions. Built with a heavy-duty aluminum enclosure and a shatter-resistant protective screen, each unit features a chassis designed, built, and powder coated in California (Made in USA) with CDS’s signature silver-splatter finish. Designed for continuous 24/7 industrial operation with a 30,000-hour (minimum) backlight life, the CDS-FB17 is a drop-in replacement for the CDS-FB15 and a field-proven platform with over 5 years of continuous deployment in automotive manufacturing environments.
